While I'm Waiting
by John Waller
I'm waiting, I'm waiting on you Lord and I am hopeful
I'm waiting on you Lord though it is painful
But patiently I will
I will move ahead bold and confident
Taking every step in obedience
While I’m waiting I will serve you
While I’m waiting I will worship
While I’m waiting I will not faint, I'll be running the race even while I wait
I'm waiting, I'm waiting on you Lord and I am peaceful,
I'm waiting on you Lord, though it's not easy, no, but faithfully I will wait. Yes I will wait!
While you are waiting on God:
Stand firm (Be Bold & Confident)
Be Obedient & Trust God
Serve & Worship God
While we are waiting, God is working. To move us where he wants us to be. To readjust the lives of others so that his ultimate desires will be fulfilled. To bring about what will make us eventually Christlike, though not necessarily immediately comfortable. ~ God's Words of Life for Moms: Devotional Thought on Patience
Be at Peace in the Journey: God knows exactly what is blocking our breakthrough even if we do not know. We must be at peace with ourselves on our journey. Just because what we want freedom from is on the top of our list, it might be that God has three other things to reveal to us first. Patience = waiting with a smile in our hearts. ~ Be In Health - January 20 Newsletter
Psalm 37:7 commands us to, "Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him." But, for most of us, waiting quietly for God is difficult. Why? Because we are fallible human beings, often quick to anger and slow to forgive. Still, God instructs us to be patient in all things, and that's as it should be. After all, think how patient God has been with us.
Dear Lord, let me live according to Your plan and according to Your timetable. When I am hurried, Lord, slow me down. When I become impatient with others, give me empathy. Today, Lord, let me be a patient Christian, and let me trust in You and in Your master plan. Amen
