The devil cannot even trespass on your spiritual land, much less take up residence there, unless you let him. Once you reside in the Kingdom of God's Son, the devil has no legal right to set foot on your spiritual property.
Colossians 1:13 (TLB)
For he [God] has rescued us out of the darkness and gloom of Satan's kingdom and brought us into the Kingdom of his Son.
God's Kingdom is a world of freedom and forgiveness, healing and deliverance, righteousness, peace and joy. It is a world greater than your imagination can conceive. The world is at your feet, but Jesus said you hold the key to your new residence: And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” Matthew 16:19
In other words, God will allow what you will allow in your life, and God will forbid what you forbid. Since He always respects your free will, it is up to you to put a "No Trespassing" sign on your new property.
So lets get busy and put up those "No Trespassing" signs and take back our freedom in Christ. To learn more about how to defend yourself against the devils schemes see the book 21 Things the Devil Cannot Do by Duane Vander Klok. This is one of the most amazing and informing books I have ever read. It came to me at a time in my life when I needed more education on what the devil could not do, so that I could take my authority in Christ to the next level. Christ has given us so much authority in Him in order for us to live a more peaceful and overcoming life. So lets stop letting the thief [devil] break in and steal what doesn't belong to him. John 10:10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

I encourage you all to get this book and be set free!
